The Honeoye Falls-Lima School system was established in 1969 through a merger of the neighboring Honeoye Falls and Lima school districts. It is a fine example of up-to-date education. The enrollment of 2,478 students is supported by a faculty of 200 teachers. The High School, Middle School and the Manor School are located in Honeoye Falls while the Primary School is located in Lima, NY just three miles from the village.
Approximately 94% of the graduating students go on to institutions of higher learning each year. The Board of Cooperative Education Services #1 has programs for vocational education and also provides for students with special needs, all within the school district.
