Chapter 144, SIGNS

ARTICLE I, Event Announcements [Adopted 5-17-1993]

§ 144-1. Requests for signs.

Requests for signs must originate from a Honeoye Falls' civic or community incorporated not-for-profit or unincorporated not-for-profit association and must exclude religious and political organizations.

§ 144-2. Design.

Signs must match the character, material and color of the village sign and be one by three (1 x 3) feet in dimension.

§ 144-3. Time for hanging.

The time for hanging signs must be specified in said application.

§ 144-4. Number; placement.

There will be no more than two (2) event signs hung from the village sign at any one (1) time. Signs must be hung from each of the four (4) village signs.

§ 144-5. Erection and removal.

All event signs must be put up and taken down by the community organization that owns the sign.

§ 144-6. Application.

Application for a temporary hanging sign must be submitted and approved by the Village Planning Board following the aforementioned criteria.
