Who We Serve

HFMVA is the primary emergency medical services provider for the Village of Honeoye Falls and Towns of Mendon and West Bloomfield in Upstate NY; and the primary ALS provider for the Town and Village of Lima. Officially a department of the Village of Honeoye Falls, HFMVA serves a total population of approximately 18,380 residents in a 68 square-mile district, receiving approximately 1000 requests for our services a year.

In addition to providing in-district EMS coverage, HFMVA responds to mutual-aid calls with Fire and EMS agencies in Pittsford, Rush, Victor, Henrietta, and other surrounding municipalities. HFMVA’s advanced life support (ALS) units are also available to respond throughout Monroe, Livingston and Ontario counties. We provide services to an additional 55,505 residents in these adjacent towns.

HFMVA is a member agency of Monroe County Battalion 5, which also includes fire and EMS agencies from Honeoye Falls, Rush, Scottsville and Henrietta (which includes RIT). We are dispatched directly by Monroe, Ontario and Livingston counties.
